THE PRINCIPALS

    Thomas J. Prioreschi

Tom Prioreschi began his career spending five years with Union Carbide Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio, before joining International Paper Company in New York City. There, he served in a number of executive positions for 11 years, including managing engineering and systems groups in this country and systems and manufacturing operations control groups on a worldwide basis.

Prioreschi then went into business for himself as an entrepreneur in real estate and real estate development in 1976. Based in New Jersey, he was involved with properties in New York, New Jersey and Florida before coming to South Carolina in 1998.

Tom has formed and participated in approximately 80 different partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and subchapter S corporations. All have been for the purpose of investing and developing over $120,000,000 in real estate property.

    David M. Bryant

Over the past 30 years, David has built his reputation by focusing on prestigious golf clubs and residential neighborhoods across the country. These sales stretch from Los Angeles, CA, to the coast of South Carolina.

Bryant and his associates have sold one-billion dollars in commercial property, home sites and condominiums to over 5,000 corporate and individual clients.

In 1992, he became a partner, co-founder and broker of a development and marketing group in Beaufort, SC, Renaissance Marketing Group. Early in the planning of these Low Country coastal communities – Bermuda Bluff and The Islands of Beaufort, among others – preservation of the natural environment was a major consideration.

Both communities were featured in Southern Living, Verandah, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Coastal Living and Colonial Homes magazines. Also, Bermuda Bluff was the location of Home and Garden Television’s 1998 Dream Home Give-away.

Bryant moved back to Columbia in 1999 after he sold his interest in the companies. At this time, he joined the first master-planned community in that area, Lake Carolina Properties. This billion-dollar, new-home lake community was the first of its kind in the region.

Bryant then looked to revitalization of the inner city, primarily the Congaree Vista area. He facilitated the sale of the majority of The Arnold Companies’ commercial buildings at Parkside, as well as the individual live/work townhomes in the Town Center and The Green at Harborside. In 2002, Bryant received accreditation in CCIM – Certified Commercial Investment Member – an organization with stringent requirements for membership. Then in 2005, he formed Metropolitan Development Inc, which specializes in urban developments and revitalization of specific undertakings. David is a native of Columbia and a graduate of the University of South Carolina with duel degrees in Retail Management and Marketing.

    Jeffrey N. Prioreschi

Jeff began his professional career in 1992 as a corporate sales manager of a national cellular phone company in Virginia Beach, VA. While there, his region consistently ranked among the top-producing areas in the country.

In 1996, he relocated to South Carolina, where he worked for the largest fluoropolymer tubing company in the world – Zeus, Inc., in Orangeburg. Before leaving the company to join his father in the entrepreneurial business of real estate development, Jeff managed the entire North and Latin American operations for the Medical Products Division of Zeus. Responsibilities included research and development, production planning, finance, marketing and sales.

This accumulated experience was invaluable when Jeff joined his father, Tom, at Capitol Places, where he currently manages acquisitions, construction, finance, accounting, property management and design.

Jeff sits on the executive board of City Center Partnership in Columbia, SC. City Center Partnership focuses on filling vacancies in commercial properties, retaining existing downtown businesses and recruiting new ones – expanding the downtown residential base and creating a safe, clean and friendly downtown environment.

Jeff was born and raised in New Jersey. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
